By using Courtzy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Use of Courtzy
Courtzy helps organize racket-sports sessions, queues, matches, spectator views, friends, ratings, Find discovery and sanctioned events, and court listings and bookings. You are responsible for the accuracy of players, scores, participants, events, listings, bookings, and other information you enter or share.
Accounts
Some features require sign-in, including friends, public profiles, online ratings, hosting live shared sessions, Courtzy Pro restoration across devices, Find browsing in the app, event hosting and member join requests. Public event pages and host-added guests do not require an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. Display names must follow the app's naming rules and may be adjusted during account creation if the requested name is unavailable.
Courtzy Pro
Courtzy Pro is an optional monthly subscription that provides ad-free use and cloud-backed sanctioned event hosting, including Open Play and Tournament Mode events. The existing sanctioned-event benefit continues in Find > My Listings, expanded with public listings, detailed event settings, join-request management and host-added guests. It is no longer created from Home. Pro is required to host and list events; browsing and participating do not require Pro. Listing or booking courts in Book also does not require Pro. The localized monthly price is displayed before purchase. Payment is charged by Apple or Google when the purchase is confirmed, and the subscription automatically renews each month unless cancelled through your store account before renewal. Deleting your Courtzy account does not cancel the store subscription. Legacy Support the Developer purchasers retain lifetime Courtzy Pro access.
Events and Invitations
Only signed-in Courtzy Pro users may create and list cloud-backed sanctioned events. Hosts publish from Find > My Listings and can invite Courtzy members, accept join requests and add guests without Courtzy accounts. Members may participate without Pro. A public listing or pending request does not guarantee a place: the host must accept a join request before it adds that player to the roster. Participants may leave a preparing event, and hosts may remove participants or cancel an event.
Hosts are responsible for accurate titles, descriptions, locations, countries, Maps links, schedules, fees and game settings; any venue permission or reservation; participant management and recorded results; and obtaining permission to enter or publish other people's information, including guest names and ratings. Hosts must have enough eligible participants for the selected format. Publishing in Find does not mean Courtzy has verified, endorsed or officially sanctioned an organizer, venue or competition by a sporting authority.
Published listings and public participant names, Member/Guest labels and available Elo ratings can be viewed on the web without sign-in. Hosts must not put private contact information in public descriptions. To request to join in the mobile app, a member supplies a contact number and confirms mutual contact sharing with the host. Use shared numbers only for legitimate event arrangements. Cancellation or decline retains the request record and previously disclosed contact access; it does not retract information already received.
An event reaching its end time or being marked Ended does not automatically delete its public page. Unlisting removes public access to the post and roster through Courtzy but does not delete the underlying event or third-party copies. Hosts remain responsible for communicating event changes and cancellations to affected players.
Courtzy provides event organization and discovery tools and does not organize, guarantee attendance at, or collect payments for listed events. Any event fee, payment, refund or cancellation arrangement is between the host and participants outside Courtzy. Hosts and participants are responsible for their conduct and for assessing venue and activity suitability. Report misleading or abusive event content to support with the event link; Courtzy may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.
Sanctioned events may be run as Open Play or in Tournament Mode (single elimination, double elimination, round robin, or hybrid knockout). Matchups, Elo-based seeding, series lengths, advancement and results follow the host's format and recorded outcomes, including corrections and forfeits. Guests may use host-assigned Elo for balancing or seeding; guest participation does not create an account or earn an online member rating. Matches involving guests do not update member Elo. Brackets and results are part of the event record visible to participants and viewers.
Live Session Sharing
A signed-in host may share a regular live session using a join code or supported link. Anyone who receives a valid spectator code or link may be able to view the shared live session as a spectator. Hosts are responsible for sharing codes carefully and for the player names, scores, and other session information they publish.
A host may also enable co-hosting, which creates a separate co-host code. Any signed-in user who joins with a valid co-host code can control the shared session — including players, queue order, scores, match results, and ending the session — on the host's behalf. Hosts are responsible for choosing who receives a co-host code and for changes co-hosts make, and can revoke co-host access at any time by disabling co-hosting or stopping sharing. Co-hosts must use these controls consistently with these Terms.
Court Booking Marketplace
The Book area lets signed-in users list courts for rent and request to book courts listed by others. Courtzy is a venue for listing and arranging bookings only. Courtzy is not the provider of any court, is not a party to any booking, does not process payments for court time, and does not guarantee the existence, availability, quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing, or that any owner or player will honor a booking.
Owners. If you list a court, you represent that you are entitled to rent it and that your listing — including the address, rate, hours, amenities, description, and published contact details — is accurate and lawful. New listings and edits to an approved listing are reviewed before they go live, and Courtzy may decline, hide, or remove a listing at its discretion, including after user reports. You are responsible for the contact details you publish, for responding to requests, and for honoring bookings you confirm.
Players. When you request to book, you provide a contact detail so the owner can reach you, and you are responsible for the accuracy of your request and for your conduct with the owner. Requesting a booking is not a guarantee; an owner confirms, declines, or cancels requests.
Payments and arrangements happen outside Courtzy. Any payment, deposit, refund, cancellation term, or other arrangement for court time is solely between the booker and the owner, made outside the app. Courtzy does not collect fees for court time and is not responsible for disputes, no-shows, non-payment, injuries, damages, or any other issue arising from a booking or a court visit. You deal with other users at your own risk.
Conduct and moderation. Do not post fake, misleading, duplicate, scam, impersonating, or otherwise objectionable listings, and do not misuse another user's published contact details. Signed-in users can rate and report listings and block other users; reported listings may be automatically hidden and are subject to review. Courtzy may remove content and restrict accounts that violate these Terms.
Ratings
Elo ratings and aggregate statistics are calculated from eligible recorded match and participation data. Eligibility rules, including minimum session duration and linked-player requirements, may apply. Ratings are provided for recreational and informational purposes and may change as app logic evolves or data is corrected. Court-listing star ratings and booking-reputation scores are likewise informational, community-generated signals and are not a guarantee about any court, owner, or player.
Data Storage and Account Deletion
Regular session history is generally stored locally, while accounts, public profiles, social statistics, friendships, notifications, shared live sessions, sanctioned events, and court listings and bookings use online services. Account deletion removes the account and core profile records described in the Privacy Policy, including your public Find listings and participant projections, organizer contacts, event join requests you submitted or received as host and their phone numbers, your court listings, your booking requests, and your booking-reputation record, but some shared, transactional, security, or other-user records may be retained. Account deletion does not cancel Courtzy Pro.
Ads and Tracking Choices
Courtzy may show Google AdMob ads to non-Pro users on supported native platforms. Where your tracking permission and any required regional advertising consent allow it, ads may be personalized; otherwise ads are served as non-personalized or limited ads. Courtzy does not share Courtzy profile, friend, session, score, or event content with AdMob for ad targeting. Google AdMob may process device identifiers and ad-interaction data for ad serving, personalization where permitted, security, fraud prevention, frequency limiting, and ad measurement. On iOS and iPadOS, Courtzy uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt when required, and you can manage that permission in Apple Settings. Declining tracking permission does not block Courtzy's core features. Regional Ad Privacy Choices, when available, are separate advertising consent controls and do not override your Apple tracking permission setting.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Courtzy to harass others, impersonate users, submit false or abusive content, interfere with app services, or attempt unauthorized access to data.
No Warranty
Courtzy is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, rating accuracy, or that local or online session and event data will never be lost.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Courtzy and LoqzCorp are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Courtzy after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
